Reply. Hello, give these fish the Recommended Treatment.

Reply. Hello Jim, the Fire Eels are a bit delicate for your fish, and Fire Eels must be fed live Black Worms, but this will be very difficult, because your other fish will eat all the Black Worms before the Fire Eels find the worms.

I recommend a Snowflake Eel for your aquarium.

Click here to read about Snow Flake Eels including the fact that Snowflake Eels are compatible with Oscars and other Neotropical Cichlids like your Firemouth Cichlid.

I have 2 pearl gouramis in a 10-gallon tank right now.  There are other fish in the tank like neon blue gouramis and 1 molly and 1 pink shark.  The male pearl one has been bright gold for a while now like u said they get when they mate.  And the female was really large and you could tell tshe had eggs.
Now the males goldish color is gone and i found a string of little clear eggs on 1 peice of gravel. In the tank i have a baby net with one small baby molly in it.  What can i do with these eggs in order to raise them safe? thank you.
Reply. Hello Blake, the coloration of Pearl Gouramis does intensify before they spawn, and they may have spawned in your aquarium, but I doubt the eggs you found on the gravel were from the Peal Gourami female, because Pearl Gouramis lay eggs that float on the surface of the water.

Click here for more about Pearl Gouramis including a beautiful new picture of a young Pearl Gourami.

Even though you don't know who laid they eggs, you could still put the eggs in a breeder net to protect them, and see if they will hatch.

Suggestion: more pictures of the fish for sale
Comments: i am looking for the croaking gourami i think it is also called the sparkling gourami. I was wondering if yall can get it. Also how many clams per gallon of water? I have purchased from you once before (last month) and all the fish are doing really well. I bought 3or 4 clams from you and now i want more. I have tried to find a place i could get them without havng to order them online and pay the 20$ shipping for just a few clams but i cant.
So i am going to place another order soon for the clams and some other fish. I have a 55 gallon that has 3or4 clams in it and i would like more in it. I also would like to put some clams in my 29gallon and my 6 gallon tanks Thus i need to know how many i can keep per tank. The dragon fish i bought from you is eating out of my hand and doing very very well. Could i add another to my 5 gallon tank? it is lightly stocked (is my grow-out tank) and is brackish.
Thanks in advance.
Reply. Hello Amity, we are constantly adding more pictures.

Click here to see some of the newest pictures. At this time we do not carry Croaking Gouramis.

Click here to see the list of Gouramis that we have in our facilities.

I think you could put at least another twenty of the Fresh Water Clams in your aquariums, and this would make a very interesting looking group of Clams.

Dragon Fish quarrel with each other, and they seem to do best with one in an aquarium or several together but not just a few, like 2 or 3 or even 4 together in the same aquarium.

I have a regular dealer who is receiving problems in special fish orders, I'm not trying to jump fish stores, but. I am trying to locate the cost and availability of Cardinal Tetra (I'd like to get six), I am also interested in obtaining a Pink Ghost Angelfish ( I only need 1) The only problem that might occur is the method of delivery, I live in the middle of the Navajo Nation.

Reply. Hello James. We don't import Cardinal Tetras.

Click here to read the explanation of why we don't import them.

I recommend that you get Neon Tetras instead of Cardinal Tetras for your aquarium.

Neon Tetras are raised in huge numbers by fish farmers, and so they are readily available in excellent condition.

Your local fish dealer can probably supply you with Neon Tetras.

Click here for more information about both Neon Tetras and Cardinal Tetras, and you can also see a small video showing a big school of Cardinal Tetras in a beautiful aquarium.

We have the Angelfish that you want. We call it a Blushing Angel. We don't list it with our other Angelfish, so you will need to make a Special Request when you order.

Click here for more information about making a Special Request.

I checked your address and at this time there is no problem delivering to you.

A package leaving here in the evening will be scheduled for delivery to you by noon the next day.

i have a question, in about 2 months i would like to purchase one each of the below listed fishes
1.    Red & white ryukin
2.    calico ryukin
3.    Red & white oranda
4.    Red cap oranda
my questions are
1.    Do they live well with the normal gold fish,   i want my fishes to live in harmony and i dont want any bullying in my tank , so i need to know can they live together without being a trouble to one another?
2.    Do you have each of them in the size about 2 - 2 1/2 inches,  i dont want them any bigger than that, cause that is the size of my other fishes.
thank you for your urgent answer.

Reply. Hello. The fish you list are all Fancy Goldfish. Right now we have all of them available in the 2.5" size.

Click here to see the list of Fancy Goldfish available in our facilities. These Fancy Goldfish will get along well together.

Click here to read more information about Fancy Goldfish.

The Fancy Goldfish are not compatible with Pond Comets, because the pond comets swim faster, eat most of the food, and nip on the Fancy Goldfish.

I own two cinnamon dwarf gouramis and I was wondering if you could tell me how recognize whether they are male or female, whether they lay eggs or are livebearers.
     Shawn, Fayetteville, NC
Reply. Hello Shawn. Your Cinnamon Dwarf Gouramis are a color variety of the Dwarf Gourami, which is a species with the scientific name Colisa lalia.

All the color varieties of this species are wonderful aquarium fish, and all the color varieties have brightly colored males and silver females.

Click here now to see a picture of two Neon Blue Dwarf Gouramis. You'll see a male with bright blue and red coloration and a female with mostly silver coloration.

Your Cinnamon Dwarf Gouramis will be similar. The male should be very colorful and the female mostly silver.

Dwarf Gouramis are Anabantids, like Bettas, and build a bubble next and lay floating eggs like Bettas.

Click here to read about the nine steps for breeding Bettas that I wrote. These seven steps will all apply to your Cinnamon Dwarf Gouramis.

Dwarf Gouramis are not livebearers like Mollies.

... here is what happened, my biggest gold fish was about to die on sunday, i knew this because, every time he would stop swimming, his body would become light and float up to the top of the water, he could hardly keep balance of his body, and little oxygen bubbles had begun to attach to his body, i could see him struggling and he was fighting to survive. Being the christian that i am, i prayed over him, i prayed and prayed and i saw that he was still struggling, i left home, expecting to return and see him dead, but when i came back he was more vibrant, he was swimming and he was moving really fast like he normally does.
I kept monitoring him and he became more and more weak, he was fighting to survive,   oxygen bubbles from the tank had even begin to attach to him.  he was struggling to survive, I am a first time fish owner, and i am in love with my fishes.
after i prayed i left him in God's hands, there was nothing else i could do, i saw thta he was on the brink of dying,  he couldnt even keep his body at an even tone, he would seem to lose control of his balance in the water, and he would float to the top of the water in a side way position.
I went out later in the evening and came back and he was a little more vibrant,   actually i expected to meet him dead,  but he gained more life,  i thanked the Lord, and he has been doing better ever since.
I would like to get any information that you may have, on reasons why he could have been dying,   i am desperate and would like to take every preventative measure from him dying.
