In the 1960s and 1970s
The Bailey Brothers, DrTom and Nevin, raised millions of Pet Fish, like the one shown
in the pictures in this web site,
and sold most of those fish to Tropical Fish wholesalers.
The brothers were often amazed at all the aquariums full of weak, sick, and quarantined fish. Once they asked, if their fish ended up like that and were told, "No it never happens with your fish."
Even so, many of the wholesalers constantly bargained with the brothers for lower prices, but the brothers knew the wholesalers got the fish, doubled the price, and sold them in a couple of days.
When the brothers explained all this to their father, who was a very experienced businessman in aerospace, he said, "They'd be better off spending less of their time bargaining
with you for lower prices, and instead spending more of their time selling your fish and encouraging you to raise even more for them."
Finally DrTom and Nevin became Tropical Fish
Wholesalers and were very quickly successful. The brothers have often said that the single most important principle is to buy Premium Fish from suppliers of Premium Fish.
It's really very simple, and it's the reason the fish for sale on this website are healthier, more colorful, grow faster,
breed more easily, and enjoy longer lives, when fed premium foods and given good care.
"Premium Quality Pet Fish? When I orders I wonder if it was true. Then I got the fish and could see it was completely true. Thank you AquariumFish.net!"

Often we pay more for the fish, but the fish farmers that raise the best fish usually know how to pack them better. Better fish and better packing mean the fish arrive here in better condition, and so we have fewer weak or sickly fish that need medicating. This saves us more than the premium we pay for Premium Fish. We encourage you to compare our prices with other sources of pet fish, you'll see our Premium Fish usually cost less, and you should be able to see in the pictures in this web site that our fish are
healthier and prettier.
By the way, almost all of the pictures of fish on this web site were taken by our DrTom of our fish in our aquariums. So you'll be able to see what we mean by Premium Pet Fish.
We are often asked if the fish we ship will look just like the fish in the pictures on this website, and our answer is, "Usually not." Why is that? Most of the fish in the pictures are in top condition, and a little bit older than the fish that we ship.
If you get premium fish from us, they'll come in tired and take a couple of days to completely recover. Care for them as we recommend on this web site, feed them premium fish food, and you can raise them up to be Premium Fish, just like DrTom does.
So they'll have better colors, more energy, and longer lives than most pet fish. Our Premium Pet Fish are really a bargain for us and for you.
