This is the most beautiful member of the Hillstream Loach group, because of its very attractive pattern. This fish is very hardy and energetic. It's a rather new species in the aquarium hobby, and a
wonderful aquarium fish that loves to eat premium flake and pellet foods. ;^ }

This fish lives in one of DrTom Bailey's 55-gallon aquariums. You
can see in the picture this Tiger Barb has dazzling coloration with bright orange-red markings and a metallic green sheen on some of the black areas.
DrTom says he thinks
this fish is exceptionally healthy and vigorous because this aquarium contains an EcoBio-Stone, which keeps the water exceptionally clear and healthy. You can
see the highly recommended EcoBio-Stone just to the left of the Tiger Barb in this picture.

I just had to write and thank you for the terrific fish you sent me. They arrived a week ago and are all alive, healthy and thriving!! I have ordered fish from other companies in the past and have had many fatalities within the first 48 hours.
This is a nice young male, whose ancestors lived in Lake Malawi in East Africa, but this fish was born and raised on a famous fish farm. His parents were Peacock Cichlids, but they may not have been the same species. Just like orchids the most colorful aquarium fish are often hybrids.
Whatever the ancestry of this fish, he's beautiful, hardy, energetic, and not too aggressive. So this is really an ideal fish for aquariums and is highly recommended.
Like almost aquarium fish, Peacocks will achieve their best coloration, when fed premium fish foods.

Black Moor Goldfish have wonderful personalities! This one lives right now in DrTom's goldfish aquarium, where it's a very busy little fish, swimming among the bigger goldfish and beginning to grow up. Goldfish can live for much more than 20-years, and that makes them longtime members of the family. Where will this fish be in 20-years? It's fun to think about.

Aquarists have kept and loved Rams for a long time, but this variety is NEW! Their scientific name is Microgeophagus ramirezi, which has been shortened to Ram Cichlid.
This fish's ancestors lived in pools on the savannah in northern South America. This is a dazzling new color variety, which grows to be about 2.5" long and is highly recommended as an aquarium fish.

These are two closely related Tetras from the wonderful Amazon Rainforests in South America. Both fish are species in the genus named Hyphessobrycon. Well no not quite. Both fish are probably hybrids of two or more such species. Just like many of the most colorful orchids are hybrids of two or more species.
Whatever the genealogy of these fish, they are really good aquarium fish. The top picture shows a nice school of ten Serpae Tetras, and the bottom picture shows a Lemon Tetra. Both species are hardy, energetic, beautiful, inexpensive, and highly recommended.

This is a controversial aquarium fish. Why? Because they grow very fast and soon need a very large aquarium. How large? Eventually one Oscar can grow to need a 150-gallon aquarium or even bigger!
So buying an Oscar is not a casual decision. It should live for many years in a very large aquarium and deserves a dedicated owner! But people, who have one, love it as much as any other pet.

Shipping Charges
You pay$33.25 to ship any size order. This includes the cost for the special insulated carton, packing the fish, and we prepay the delivery company.
You pay for the fish you want at the prices shown on our Price List plus one charge of $33.25 for shipping one order with as many fish as you order to one address.
FREE SHIPPING on LIVE ORDERS over $139.00 There's always an additional charge of $20.00 for shipments to Alaska and Hawaii. If you request delivery on Saturday, there's an additional charge of $15.00.
We try our best to keep shipping charges down, but we want to maximize the safety of the fish that are shipped, because we love them a lot. So we ship using "Overnight". The boxes leave here late in the afternoon and almost always arrive before noon the next day, and that's very safe for the fish.
Long ago a very nice fellow ordered one Ghost Shrimp for much less than $1.00 and the shipping charges were much, much more than that for one small box. Before shipping, we called him, and he said he was perfectly happy with the charges!
We were amazed and ended up sending him two extra free shrimps. He called back a couple of days later to thank us, and even said that it's much better watching three shrimps interact than just having one.
About a week or two later he order hundreds of fish. In fact his order required three or four large boxes! He was charged the same shipping charges.
So ... one shrimp or hundreds of fish the shipping charges are usually the same ... except we now temporarily offer ...
