very-very good aquarium fish.
Rosy Barbs are very hardy, very energetic, and very colorful, especially after they mature and when fed premium foods. Plus Rosys are inexpensive
and grow to a very nice size: not too big and not too small for most aquariums.
Another advantage of Rosy Barbs is they do well in either cool water aquariums or warm water aquariums.

Whoa! Now this is a beautiful fish that lives in DrTom's Goldfish Aquarium.
DrTom, who takes most of the photos on this site, has several aquariums full of fish from AquariumFish.net, and all of the fish are gorgeous. His plan is to take a nice picture of each fish, then return it to AquariumFish.net.
But before he knows it, he gets to really loving each fish and then has trouble letting them go back. This Shubunkin has lived in one of DrTom's aquariums for a long time and keeps getting nicer and nicer, which makes it harder and harder to send him back.
Did I call this fish he? Yes, this fish is a male. How can you tell? By the white specks on his gill cover behind his eye. Males get these spots, which are called nodules, when they're ready to breed.
Anywho, this is wonderful fish for aquariums and ponds. Be sure to feed it premium foods to bring out the best in color, health, and energy.

The top picture shows a male Endler's Livebearer, and the lower picture shows a female. This species is very closely related to Guppies and can interbreed. But it's a separate species, and the males have uniquely brilliant coloration.
Like most livebearers, Endler's live best in a group with at least three males and about twice as many females. This big guy was spawned on a famous fish farm and raised up in our aquariums, but his ancestors lived in Madagascar, which is a large island off the east coast of Africa.
The Cichlid species on Madagascar separated from African Cichlids a very long time ago. So all the Madagascar Cichlids, like these Polleni are unique and interesting. We love this big guy a lot.

Shipping Charges
You pay$33.25 to ship any size order. This includes the cost for the special insulated carton, packing the fish, and we prepay the delivery company.
You pay for the fish you want at the prices shown on our Price List plus one charge of $33.25 for shipping one order with as many fish as you order to one address.
FREE SHIPPING on LIVE ORDERS over $139.00 There's always an additional charge of $20.00 for shipments to Alaska and Hawaii. If you request delivery on Saturday, there's an additional charge of $15.00.
We try our best to keep shipping charges down, but we want to maximize the safety of the fish that are shipped, because we love them a lot. So we ship using "Overnight". The boxes leave here late in the afternoon and almost always arrive before noon the next day, and that's very safe for the fish.
Long ago a very nice fellow ordered one Ghost Shrimp for much less than $1.00 and the shipping charges were much, much more than that for one small box. Before shipping, we called him, and he said he was perfectly happy with the charges!
We were amazed and ended up sending him two extra free shrimps. He called back a couple of days later to thank us, and even said that it's much better watching three shrimps interact than just having one.
About a week or two later he order hundreds of fish. In fact his order required three or four large boxes! He was charged the same shipping charges.
So ... one shrimp or hundreds of fish the shipping charges are usually the same ... except we now temporarily offer ...
